HALLOWEEN - Halloween stuffed peppers

Chef George Tsoulis Halloween snacks that you will love.

INGREDIENTS
6 orange peppers
500 gr. minced meat, beef
400 gr. crushed tomato
200 gr. rice, boiled
180 gr. gouda cheese, grated
1 onion, finely chopped
1 kg celery, finely chopped
1 sc. garlic, finely chopped
400 ml beef broth
salt
pepper
olive oil
PREPARATION & EXECUTION
1 Place a saucepan over medium-high heat and let it heat up. After it heats up, add a little olive oil, onion, celery, garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until they turn brown.
2 Then, add the minced meat and sauté it until it turns white.
3 Immediately after, add the crushed tomatoes, the broth, season with salt and pepper, mix with a wooden spoon and simmer for 25-30 minutes, until the sauce sets.
4 At the same time, with a knife we cut the stalks of the peppers from their bases and then, we form triangular eyes and noses in their flesh.
5 Once the minced meat is ready, transfer it to a bowl together with the rice and mix with a spoon, until they are well combined.
6 Finally, fill the peppers with the above filling, sprinkle with gouda cheese, cover them and serve.
