After rain there's a rainbow,
After a storm there's calm,
After the night there's a morning, and
After an ending there's a new beginning.
When we encounter a rainbow, we are mesmerized by this unique and natural phenomenon. With its burst of colours, the rainbow magically appears in the sky after a thunderstorm. The rainbow symbolizes the end of a difficult or negative stage in life, a significant turning point, and the start of new beginnings. Beauty can come from darkness - embrace the storms. Troubles come to pass and tough situations build strong people. Some of our hardest times often lead to some of our life’s greatest moments. We associate feelings of acceptance, appreciation, joy, love, patience, encouragement, hope and inspiration to bring positive energy into our lives after every storm.
“Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” - Michael Jordan
We all face obstacles (troubles, challenges, hard times, struggles) in our lives, but we should not let obstacles define us. Every situation in life is temporary. We can choose to Face Everything And Rise (F.E.A.R). Working around obstacles may at times seem impossible, but obstacles shouldn’t stop us. How we choose to respond to a life situation is a ‘choice’ - figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. Hope is stronger than fear, and better days are on their way.
“I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.” —Emma Watson
Every experience is a learning and growth opportunity. Learn to get go and forgive yourself, and others, understanding we are all on a different path in this Planet Earth adventure. When you come out of the storm, it’s a transition, you won’t be the same person who walked in, and that is what makes us stronger and more resilient.
Rainbows introduce us to the prospect of different and new beautiful possibilities. We can learn to appreciate how much stronger and more empowered we have become coming out of challenging chapters, and to be more grateful for all the blessings in our lives. Let’s take the time to look at fresh opportunities, see things with a new perspective, take a new direction, or make different choices for ourselves.
Rainbows colour our world. Be the rainbow in the storms of life. Embrace rainbows more and more each day. Make the most of the time you have. New beginnings are full of opportunities to change - love and grow.

A rainbow is a multi-coloured arc made by light striking water droplets. The most familiar type rainbow is produced when sunlight strikes raindrops in front of a viewer at a precise angle (42 degrees). Rainbows can also be viewed around fog, sea spray, or waterfalls. A rainbow is an optical illusion—it does not actually exist in a specific spot in the sky. The appearance of a rainbow depends on where you're standing and where the sun (or other source of light) is shining. The sun or other source of light is usually behind the person seeing the rainbow – National Geographic.
